From the artist’s printmaking collection. An expressive, hand-pulled, black and white monotype depicting a woman's figure arising from vigorously detailed ashes of devastation.  A seemingly unfathomable feat she now stands strong, triumphantly risen to the best of her abilities.  A moving and meaningful piece considering the current climate of our time, for women and all our human family. Thus, like the phoenix rising, this is a story about transformation, recovery and immortality.  Moment by moment we have choice and capability of growth, infinite possibilities to grow, to overcome, to rise again, even if just in one’s thought life.
