From the Hug-a-Tree Collection which celebrates the natural give and take nature of photosynthesis itself, with many trees in the collection being painted plein air, on several occasions, and in different seasons. This painting was begun plein air at Conejo Park South in Thousand Oaks, California and completed in the artist’s studio.
